"The Current" A Capella Group Provide Music Therapy

Music can be an important part of the healing process. The A cappella group The Current, came by to sing and spread joy to patients at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital.

We enjoyed Christmas classics such as "Deck The Halls," "Jingle Bells," and more as well as some other favorites like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Shut Up And Dance."

According to NYU Langone's website, "Music therapy can help reduce stress and anxiety, develop interpersonal skills, and provide a healthy emotional outlet. It can be beneficial for anyone, regardless of prior music experience."
