Whole Foods "Chicken Salad" Recalled for Containing No Chicken

You may be laughing at the bizarre title, but this could be a potentially dangerous side effect for some! Whole Foods has fallen victim to an embarrassing mix-up after 440 pounds of "buffalo-style chicken salad" were mistakenly shipped to the store containing tuna instead of poultry. Tuna is also a very common known allergen, which was not declared on the product label. The mistake was discovered by a Whole Foods Market employee when they were unpacking the product. The affected products were produced on June 27, 2017 and sold at Whole Food Markets in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

There have been no illnesses reported as a result of this recall, but customers who purchased this product are advised to throw it out, ASAP!
