Beyoncé Speaks Out for the First Time Since Giving Birth

Queen Bey has spoken! We all know that Beyoncé recently gave birth to the world's most anticipated set of twins, and has been understandably staying out of the spotlight as her twins spend a little extra time in the hospital due to their premature birth. This didn't stop her from accepting a BET Award on Sunday night..sort of!

The pop titan made her first statement since the birth of her twins, via R&B due Chloe x Halle, who accepted the Viewer's Choice award on Bey's behalf, since she obviously couldn't attend the awards ceremony.

"Thank you BET for this award and your tremendous support of Lemonade," Beyoncé's note reads. "This has been a journey of love, of celebrating our culture, honoring the past, and approaching the present and future with hope and resolve."

The icon then went on to thank her family: "Thank you to my mother Tina Knowles-Lawson for being my biggest, biggest teacher, and consistent influence. Thank you to my entire family for so much love. To my team at Parkwood, thank you. And thanks to all the fans, my Beyhive, for riding with me. I love and appreciate you. And to everyone at the show tonight, you all look so beautiful. And at home, thank you, and have a wonderful, wonderful night. From, Beyoncé."

Now let's see those twins!
