George Michael Cause Of Death Revealed

A coroner confirmed that pop star George Michael officially died at age 53 from natural causes related to heart and liver problems. The Wham! singer suffered from a dilated cardiomyopathy, which is a disease of the heart muscle where it becomes stretched and thin. This means that it is unable to pump blood around the body efficiently. Michael was also diagnosed with myocarditis and fatty liver, according to CNN. Originally, police thought the death at Michael's home was unexplained, but not suspicious. The initial post-mortem exam was determined "inconclusive".

In the past, Michael admitted to drug use but denied being an addict. His funeral has been on hold until toxicology reports have been completed.
